Woody Allen is in the middle of shooting his next film, which he intends to release in 2025. And one of the scenarios in which the plot will be developed will take place in Barcelona, a city to which he already paid tribute in ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’.
The cult American director has revisited BCN with part of his team and his wife, with whom he would enjoy an evening at the contemporary Catalan cuisine restaurant Ca l’Iisidre. It is a classic in the Raval neighborhood, run by Isidre Gironès and his wife Montserrat, which he would already visit in 2019 together with Soon-Yi Previn.
The restaurant, which opened its doors in 1970, and through which illustrious figures of the national and international scene have passed, is known for serving revised classic recipes of the Catalan-Mediterranean market cuisine with a modern and innovative twist to seasonal and local products.
The filmmaker would then sit down again at the table of what is already one of his favorite restaurants in Barcelona, where he was captured with the film and theater producer Edward Walson.
