Each person follows a different method when it comes to eating cereals. They even perform the ritual at different times of the day. The reality is that it is a snack that offers versatility, to say the least, and can be consumed in multiple combinations. Based on that idea, tiktoker Lauren Hoffman created a new macro-trend on TikTok in which she demonstrates how to ‘load up your cereal‘ by incorporating lots and lots of ingredients into your bowl.

In the video, Lauren adds Honey Nut Cheerios with several extra additions, such as fresh strawberries, a dollop of peanut butter and brownie bits. And, even though the bowl is practically overflowing, she tops it off with milk and eats it.

The ‘loaded cereal’ trend has then been reinterpreted by countless users of the platform, who have wanted to project it on our feeds. The obsession has been such that many have even decided to get up at night to make themselves a cup of loaded cereal. ‘I’m actually crying because I’m so excited to do this,’ wrote one fan. ’10:23pm and I’m getting out of bed right now to make this,’ said another.

Since this video was posted, Lauren has continued to share a variety of loaded cereal ideas. In one bowl, Lauren adds Nutella, strawberries and almond croissant pieces to her cereal; while in another she combines peaches and cream with a drizzle of honey, peaches, bananas, cinnamon and ice cream. The possibilities are endless.
