Although this is nothing new, it seems that this past season has been dominated by celebrity impersonator contests, projecting what we could all already advance: we are officially in the era of the ‘look-alike contests‘.

After having passed through the stage doubles of Jeremy Allen, Tom Holland, Jacob Elordi or Timothée Chalamet, now it has been the turn of the most mediatic and incendiary chef on television: Gordon Ramsay. The announcement of the contest was posted online early last week through Hell’s Kitchen‘s profile.

The post in question announced that there was to be a chef impersonation contest at his Caesars Palace Las Vegas location on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 1 p.m. ‘Don’t miss, with your best Gordon Gordon,’ the caption read. ‘Don’t miss, with your best Gordon,’ the caption read. To which Ramsay responded sarcastically (or not): ‘You’ve got to be kidding me…’.

The winner of the Gordon Ramsay impersonation contest would take home a HexClad Everything But The Kitchen Sink lot, which included pans, pots, knives and other cookware worth a total of $2,799. And that was Keith White, from Ontario, Canada, sheathed in a chef’s coat. At the event, ‘Gordon Ramsay 2.0‘ the British chef was on hand to present the winner with the frying pan in the form of a ‘trophy’ signed by him.
