Azotea Group has announced the incorporation of Javier Mendizábal Fernández-Peña (Madrid, 1970) as new Marketing and Sales Director, reinforcing its management team at a key moment for the company’s expansion.
With more than 25 years of professional experience in sectors such as catering, automotive and consulting, Mendizábal brings to the company extensive experience in business management, marketing and communication. His career includes strategic positions in renowned businesses where he has led economic growth and digital transformation initiatives.
Most recently, he played a prominent role at Grupo Larrumba Holding, leading marketing and sales strategies that resulted in significant revenue growth. His achievements include the launch of flagship restaurants in Madrid and Seville, the creation of innovative digital and commercial strategies, as well as the implementation of loyalty and customer experience programs that raised satisfaction standards.
Previously, he was Marketing Director at General Motors Spain for the Opel brand and held positions in multinationals such as PSA Groupe España, Porsche Ibérica and Saab. His strategic approach and ability to implement innovative solutions have been key in the business development and digital transformation of these organizations.
In addition to his experience in large corporations, Mendizábal has demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit as founder of MdMentoring, a consulting firm specializing in professional reinvention and advice for re-entry into the labor market. He holds a degree in Business Management and Marketing from ESIC and has executive training in the General Management Program (PDG-C-2019) from IESE Business School.
