For her new episode of #PretendCookingShow, Jennifer Garner shares a recipe in the form of a ‘gift you would give to your future self, even if, along the way, you screw up somehow’, reads the post.

Whether you want to get started in the world of baking or you already master the art of sourdough, the performer and food influencer shares a video in which she explains, step by step, how to prepare a rosemary focacia with just four ingredients. Take note.

In a bowl, Garner adds 4 cups of plain flour, 2 teaspoons of yeast and 2 teaspoons of salt before whisking in 2 cups of warm water with which to form the dough. She then covers the dough with olive oil and puts it in the refrigerator to rise overnight.

The next morning, the actress uncovers the dough, drizzles it with more olive oil and covers it again, letting it sit in the fridge for another full day. Once the dough is ready, she brings it to room temperature and lets it rest in the pan, until she finishes it off with fresh rosemary leaves, a pinch of sea salt and a drizzle of olive oil. Garner then puts the dough in the oven for 25-30 minutes. When the focaccia is golden brown, he lets it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. ‘It’s delicious, and it’s a hit,’ he says at the end of the video. ‘It’s crispy and soft: the perfect combination.’
