Children of the 90s will be excited by this news related to one of the most relevant rock bands of their adolescence. Green Day are now back on the scene to present a new product for their coffee brand, and this time they are doing so to mark the 20th anniversary of the iconic ‘American Idiot‘ album.
Back in the summer, ‘Punk Bunny Coffee’ teamed up with Grind to launch an Iced Match Latte that would sell out in a matter of 8 hours. Now, this new collaborative release brings back the popular drink and introduces a limited edition coffee can.
The can is stamped with the graphic identity of the iconic heart-shaped pomegranate from the cover of American Idiot, and is available with Grind’s compostable coffee pods, ground coffee or coffee beans.
Billie Joe Armstrong, lead singer of Green Day, had this to say about the collaboration: ‘Over the past few years, we’ve spent time at football games, recording our album Saviors in London and drinking English coffee. Partnering our company Punk Bunny Coffee with Grind is a natural way to continue the celebration of our latest album Saviors and the anniversary of American Idiot.’
This limited edition is now available on the official Grind website.
