Most of Gordon Ramsay‘s recipes tend to generate devotion around the world. However, there is one in particular that has aroused, to say the least, controversy and controversy. And that is his fried and scrambled eggs for which his fans became ‘haters’; launching negative comments about his way of elaborating them. Now, even her own son has joined that movement.

In a new video from British GQ magazine his son Jack talks about them after Ramsay asked him to rate his eggs on a scale of one to ten. Jack was quick to respond: ‘Well, I like them differently to you,’ he said with a laugh. ‘I like them diner style. I don’t want that French cream that I have to eat with a spoon. I like to be able to poke my eggs and pick them up.’

The media chef’s retort was as follows: ‘Wait a minute, now you’re sounding like Jamie fucking Oliver,’ he said. ‘So you don’t like my scrambled eggs? All these years with sour cream and a little bit of chives and fluffy.’

Jack then explains that it’s not so much the taste, but the preparation time. ‘Yes, it’s good, but it takes 15 minutes,’ he continues. ‘I like to put them in the pan. They’re done in 30 seconds.’ However, that only seemed to annoy her celebrity chef father even more.

‘You cook scrambled eggs in a frying pan!’ Gordon said, surprised. ‘It’s called a frying pan because that’s where you fry the fucking eggs.’ ‘Why do you think I don’t want to be a chef?’ retorted Jack. Fans have definitely sided with Ramsay’s son.
