For the potato chip launch, Doritos has partnered with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to go beyond the simple drop and transcend through a social act. A $500,000 donation to the hospital for its mission of the non-space variety: ‘Finding Cures. Saving children everywhere’.
To get a can in the terrestrial sphere, packaged in a mini can with a glow-in-the-dark space effect, the user will have to make a donation to Saint Jude’s through this website.
