KFC marks its most prominent milestone in 2023 with the opening of 39 new restaurants in Spain and 9 in Portugal, bringing its total number of restaurants to 286 on the national scene and 351 throughout Iberia.
This fried chicken institution has then activated more than 1,000 jobs based on an expansion strategy based on strengthening its position in various Autonomous Communities, either with a presence in large cities or in small towns in the national territory.
2023 has been a great year in terms of expansion, as we have been able to consolidate our presence in many regions and also reach new cities. Our goal in this new year is to continue taking steps towards our objective of growing our system by around 50 units each year and to cover the local fabric with the greatest possible capillarity,’ says José Manuel Rubio, Chief Development Officer of KFC Spain and Portugal.
In addition, the fast food chain’s presence has also increased considerably in the Madrid region, with eight new restaurants, and in the Valencia region, with seven new establishments adding to the extensive KFC network.
