This is Casa Jondal (Ibiza), Tapas Magazine’s T de Oro restaurant in the Balearic Islands

Today we visit the restaurant T de Oro de Baleares 2023. It bears the seal of Rafa Zafra and Ricardo Acquista and is in the Ibizan municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia.

We continue with our gastronomic route visiting the T de Oro de Tapas Magazine awards this 2023, included in our Guide to eat and drink Spain 2024, which you can purchase on our website. Today’s stop is in the Balearic Islands, specifically at Casa Jondal restaurant, owned by Rafa Zafra and Ricardo Acquista. Although it is not in season right now, we leave you some of the reasons why you have to visit this gourmet beach bar during the next year.

Rafa Zafra and Ricardo Acquista have managed to create the perfect beach bar where eating barefoot with your feet in the sand is an experience of the highest quality. Fish, seafood and meats are what rule at Casa Jondal. There are no dishes as such, you have the product and you can choose between the different ways they have to prepare it: cured, raw, fried, grilled…. Zafra’s cooking points are close to perfection, bringing out the best of each of the products, depending on the type of meat or size. We recommend not to fill up and to order dessert.
