FRIDAY 1ST
We will begin to experience the weekend escape in the role of urban explorers at the new Sputnik Climbing in Legazpi through a plan orchestrated around climbing and gastronomy. An immersive experience that extends to the gastronomic level at La Cantina, the restaurant located inside, which has just presented its new FW23 menu.
There we will taste the new creative creations that make up his culinary activity, with dishes such as Noquerones, a delicious trompe l’oeil that recreates anchovies in vinegar using courgette, marinated wings with chilli caramel, cooked at low temperature in coconut milk and curry or his Indian Creek burger with cheddar cheese, bacon, spicy sauce and a slight Jack Daniel’s smoke.
Their inclusive alternatives – vegan, gluten-free or vegetarian – include aubergine and mushroom Graten, a delicious lasagne stuffed with red cabbage and mushrooms with kimchi, topped off with their cheesecake or coconut panacota with mango chutney.
Once we have recharged our energy, we will move on to the escapist fun, soaring up the walls of its extensive climbing wall and all its sustainable architecture, with bouldering options – a form of climbing without a rope, on mats, at a low height – of all difficulties and types.
SATURDAY 2ND
On Saturday the evening will be staged at La Esperanza, a bar with a “cañí” aesthetic that evokes the imaginary of the 70s through elements such as spherical lamps, lined stools and duralex plates on which the duo of chefs Javier Moya and Ferrán Blanch serve their traditional proposal that brings together all the cultures around the Mediterranean Sea.
Both at its marble bar and at its retro-inspired tables, you can enjoy everything from vermouth, stews or tapas such as the classic bravas, to a Zuchini Burrata salad, with courgette tagliatelle, burrata, pine nuts and dried tomatoes, or a Bomba de la Barceloneta, a creamy potato stuffed with meat Bolognese-style and battered like a croquette. We will activate the night session at Enigma, the techno party run by the transgressive collective that aims to bring back the nostalgic clubbing essence of the 2000s to the industrial areas.
Sala On will once again shake up the underground scene of the capital from a safe space for all the groups that will celebrate the first anniversary of Enigma to the rhythm of the mixes and sets of its cast of dj star @indecorum_pl, @dr_dr4kken (live set), @angelinanyuli, @dj_sportium b2b @mynameisbulma, @soffmm, @hannagplum, @lassuprema y @thisislaro.
SUNDAY 3RD
This Sunday, we’re going brunching again, and this time in a high-end version. At Dani García‘s modern restaurant Leña Madrid, like the temple of embers, we’ll try his brunch menu which includes his iconic ‘Burger that made sense of it all’ but in an XL format, a smoked beef pretzel, his croque monseiur of truffled Iberian mortadella and Havarti, eggs benedict with old cow coppa or his tarte di rosa with vanilla crème anglaise. We will end the weekend in a contemplative and stimulating way at La Casa Encendida with ‘Picasso: Untitled / With sound: The lookout, by Omsk Social Club‘: an exhibition revolving around the iconic artist, from which an additional experience is added with a sound tour.
It is a hyper-performative travelling experience that unfolds through a series of sound and verbal scores directed by OMSK Social Club, a directed and expanding collective whose artistic practice is created between two lived worlds: that of life as we know it and that of role-playing games.
