Barcelona bartender and entrepreneur Javier de las Muelas returns to Madrid with the opening of the cocktail bar ‘Dry Martini by Javier de las Muelas. The Bar’. This time it is located in the iconic Casa Gallardo building next to Plaza de España, home to another legendary restaurant, Club Allard, run by Berasategui.
“In Madrid, the bar is part of people’s daily lives. Here they laugh, cry, fall in love, and so on. That’s why, apart from enjoying the cocktails, what matters to me is to be part of people’s lives. Bars are sets where many everyday scenes are shot, sometimes in black and white and sometimes in colour, Tarantino style. That is the cornerstone of Dry Martini, which is born to be the Bar with a capital letter where everyone wants to go and where they want to be”, said De las Muelas.
With seating for 90 people, ‘Dry Martini Madrid’ offers an authentic cocktail bar, bar culture and the exclusive service that characterises all De las Muelas establishments, both in concept and menu.
In this way, the Spanish cocktail maker explained that in the new establishment, customers will find a “pure and classic cocktail bar, which will be fused with the craziest and most creative cocktails”. “It is a proposal that includes everything imaginable and unimaginable”, he warned.
Among some of the creations that diners can enjoy at this sophisticated bar is the Fugu Cocktail, an explosion of flavours. The Fugu combines pisco, orange blossom and ginger drops, Chivite wine, passion fruit, raspberry syrup and yuzu in a journey of unique flavours. A surprising combination: from the warmth of ginger to the freshness of yuzu, offering a unique experience in every sip.
