The well-known RTVE reality show, Masterchef Celebrity, has traveled to the autonomous city of Ceuta to record one of the episodes of its renowned program.
As usual, when they travel to a city for celebrities to take their first steps in the kitchen, a renowned local chef guides them. In this case, Hugo Ruiz from Ceuta, the chef of the Bugao Group. He leads the Piscolabis, Goichu, and Bugao restaurants. Ruiz challenged the participants to make recipes similar to the ones he prepares in his kitchen.
Among the participants of this edition are the film director Eduardo Casanova; the actor Jorge Sanz, Laura Londoño, and Miguel Diosdado; the presenters Toñi Moreno and Tania Llasera, the models Blanca Romero and Palito Dominguín, the model and content creator Daniel Illescas, the rider Álvaro Muñoz Escassi, the bullfighter Jesulín de Ubrique and Jorge Cadaval, from the comedy duo Los Morancos.
The menu with which Ruiz tested the participants is available to all diners who come to Bugao. It consists of coca de quisqualate from Motril, red tuna morillo, redfish stew, and the citrus world dessert.
Filming took place between May 29 and 31 in the Mediterranean Maritime Park. It is a leisure complex of about 56,000 square meters and has artificial saltwater lakes, gardens, paddle tennis courts, a stage, and bars.
