The unusual image captured by a donut delivery man inside his van

In pastry shops we are used to seeing children and adults look longingly at sweets, what is not so normal is that there are other living beings that are eager to eating one of those donuts.

Donuts are a sweet temptation for many people. They are glazed, with chocolate, caramel, and with all kinds of toppings. The variety is so numerous that almost everyone likes at least one of them, and we all end up falling into the temptation of taking one.

In large donut shops and bakeries, we are used to seeing children, young people, adults, and seniors looking with delight at the sweet products on the shelves, including, of course, donuts.

The unexpected visitors

What is not so normal is that there are other living beings who are eager to eat one of those donuts. This unusual event is precisely what happened in the remote region of Alaska, where a donut truck from the popular North American brand Krispy Kreme was attacked by two bears in mid-September.

It was a mother bear and her cub who entered the interior of the vehicle that was parked, with the doors open, in front of the Elmendor-Richardson military base, in southern Alaska. The company’s delivery driver parked there when, due to carelessness, these curious assailants entered the van.

The social media managers at Alaska’s Krispy Kreme were quick to take advantage of this unusual moment to comment that “they had some unexpected visitors” and that “everyone loves” their donuts “even the wildlife“.
