Ice Spice and Dunkin’ seem to be cooking up a collaboration that will revolve around the ‘Munchkins‘: a fusion with a lot of cadence and meaning, which syncs with both the name of their fandom and that of the doughnut and coffee chain’s flagship product.
It’s a resplendent new expression that they unveiled -in a sarcastic key- on the X platform, posting photos of a ‘Munchkin’ sporting Spice’s ‘Princess’ chain. ‘[A]merica runs on MUNCHKINS,’ the American rapper wrote, referencing both the sweet Dunkin’ menu item and the name of her ‘Munchkins’ fan base, linked to her first viral hit. Meanwhile, Dunkin’ posted: ‘putting the ice in pumpkin spice’.
It remains to be seen how many items will make up this collaborative menu. However, Dunkin confirmed that the rumored ‘Munchkin Drink’ and ‘Munchkin Donut’ Hole Treats would not be part of it.
Ice Spice x Dunkin’ will hit the chain’s stores on Wednesday, September 13.
