Jordi Roca has unveiled his next project with his usual sense of humor, dressed in a Borat-style swimsuit. Considered one of the best confectioners in the world, it would be logical to think that his new opening would follow in the sweet footsteps of Rocambolesc, his famous ice cream parlor. But the truth is that the youngest of the Roca brothers has surprised by announcing that he will open a new Rocambolesc in Girona, but with a savory proposal, specifically in the form of Bikinería. The restaurant will serve its own version of the bikini, the traditional mixed sandwich of a lifetime.
Also known as planchado, mixed sandwich or hot sandwich, Jordi prefers to stick with the term “bikini”, as he has made clear in the presentation video posted on Instagram. In this rocking Bikinería, in addition to exploring the savory world with bikinis, there will also be room for apples and more surprises.
Although the exact date is not yet known, it will be in the coming days and this Bikinería will be located very close to the Rocambolesc of Girona, specifically in the street of Hortes 6. So we will be very attentive to give a bite to these gourmet bikinis that are sure to be delicious.
