Jennifer Garner‘s recipe feed tends to go viral not only because of the celebrity’s stature, but also because of all those simple and healthy preparations that can range from mini pumpkin breads to her favorite childhood dessert.
Her most recent recipe, titled ‘Fruit & yogurt shave ice‘ follows in that footsteps, in which she reveals her favorite way to use her KitchenAid ice maker to make a 5-ingredient breakfast that could even pass for dessert. Plus, it has anti-inflammatory properties.
‘We’re going to turn basic Greek yogurt, a little vanilla, a little honeydew, strawberries and peaches -because, you know, I love peaches- into a fluffy, incredible cold treat,’ Garner said in the Instagram video.
Fruit and yogurt ice cream recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 individual size Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon vainilla
- Honey
- Fruits and nuts of your choice
Preparation:
Mix together the Greek yogurt, vanilla, honey and fruit, and add it all to the enclosed KitchenAid container, seal it and put the mixture in the freezer. Once frozen, use the KitchenAid (or other) stand mixer.
That icy mixture is crushed in the attachment in order to prepare 3 to 4 servings in a bowl. The dish is finished with nuts such as almonds, cashews or pistachios and a drizzle of honey.
