The iconic chef and founder of ‘World Central Kitchen‘, returns to Miami Beach with a new restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach.

The José Andrés Group, which manages more than 30 restaurants in the United States, Bahamas and United Arab Emirates, will take over all food and beverage operations at the luxury hotel, including the restaurants, lobby bar, Ritz Club lounge and in-room dining.

The new Zaytinya, which will replace the space of the existing Mediterranean restaurant ‘Fuego y Mar‘, will become the third location for Zaytinya, which first opened in 2002 in Washington D.C. and in 2022 in New York.

Details about the menu, nor the closing date of ‘Fuego y Mar’ have not yet been revealed, but the group expects to open Zaytinya by the end of 2023. However, in line with the restaurant, it is expected to feature an innovative menu inspired by Turkish, Greek and Lebanese cuisines served in a sleek, modern new space.
