Louis Vuitton has redesigned its Saint-Tropez café in evocative white and blue tones, dominated by the luxury house’s Damier Ebene print, to welcome a new summer season on the French coast by Michelin-starred Arnaud Donckele.
This new culinary pairing of the LV restaurant -which opened last summer at the White 1921 hotel in Saint-Tropez- thus reopens the doors of its own Eden under the gastronomic direction of chef Donckele, who will be in charge of the restaurant alongside pastry chef Maxime Frédéric to create a summer evening of Mediterranean inspiration fused with seasonal products from Provençal horticulturists.

Arnaud Donckele, also chef of La Vague d’Or restaurant at Cheval Blanc St-Tropez and Maxime Frédéric, executive chef of the Louis Vuitton café and chocolate shop at the LV Dream exhibition, have now merged their culinary codes under the same identity in order to propose a series of avant-garde creations influenced by the French Riviera, with orange blossom brioche and fresh ice cream.
In this space inspired by Vuitton’s ‘By The Pool‘ collection, among wicker chairs, sofas dressed in the house’s monogram, Zanellato hanging lanterns and Atelier Oï’s origami flowers, diners can enjoy a tea under the Saint-Tropez sun, accompanied by delicious desserts such as chocolate bars and tropical cake.
As dusk falls and the evening session of the café is activated, they will also offer evenings of regional sushi made with Camargue rice served alongside other proposals such as sea bream ceviche, pasta with truffle and zitone, spicy meat dishes, rooster or other local fish.
