In Tapas we have been committed for five years to discover you the best beach bars in Spain. Places where you can indulge in the most absolute beach hedonism, where you can enjoy as never before with salt still on your skin and sand between your toes. Spaces where you can almost touch the sea from the table, look out over the horizon and be aware that during the sunset that infinite raft is even more beautiful, with its flashes of silver and the fire that burns every evening in the sky. Reds and oranges that cry out to be honored with a toast of Aperol Spritz, refreshing and bubbly; as is life during the brightest months of the year. Our first stop is in the province of Lugo to discover A Taranxela, a different beach bar that will surprise you.
A Taranxela
We start a little far from the sea, but not from the water because this stop overlooks the Miño river, in the heart of Ribeira Sacra. A magical place, full of sloping vineyards, monasteries and hermitages, where you can enjoy a lesser known Galicia. Well, in one of its wharfs is A Taranxela, with terraces torn from the hillside, camouflaged and integrated into the vegetation. On the plate, simple and local cuisine, such as sausages, empanada, Galician cheeses, fried green peppers or tomato salad.
