This is the innovative restaurant A’nómalo, which has been consecrated in just one year

The name chosen for this project already indicates that A’nómalo is not going to be an ordinary restaurant. Opened just a year ago -in the summer of 2022-, it is an innovative concept of cuisine on view, live showcooking and an exclusive bar where diners can enjoy a culinary experience for all the senses. It is located inside the iconic restaurant A’Barra and the tasting menu it offers serves as an argument to immerse us in a gastronomic universe of the most stimulating, with the love for good product and Mediterranean roots as protagonists.

With all these ingredients, the team of chefs at A’nómalo, with Antonio Roselló as head chef, has designed a haute cuisine menu ready to break any barrier based on gastronomic proposals out of the ordinary. Here the elegant and the irreverent come together in equal parts, all executed through avant-garde techniques and seemingly impossible mixtures, but without losing the humor and, of course, the quality. During the 3-hour experience, diners will be able to taste 13 savory and sweet dishes that will mark a before and after in their palate.

A menu with the “montanera” as a common thread

Currently the menu is served in two shifts (13:30 h and 21:00 h) and is priced at 129 €. The common thread is ‘la montanera’, but there is also room for seafood. Some of the elaborations that will be prepared during the showcooking are the cured Iberian sirloin, marinated spice mixes, smoked salt, the grilled carabinero de garrucha, Joselito ear stew, saffron and pickled sea fennel; or the Joselito tuned natural cutlet and codium gazpachuelo. In the sweet section, the Ensaimada mallorquina, Joselito essence ice cream and caramelized cured yolk stand out. And in the liquid part, in addition to the prestigious sommelier Valerio Carrera, they also serve Kombucha Montanera.

This excellent quality of the product is mainly explained by the fact that behind this project there are two great entrepreneurs: José Gómez, from Joselito Meat, and Cayo Martínez, from La Catedral Vegetables. The whole team has ensured that, in less than a year, A’nómalo has already established itself as one of the restaurants to be taken into account. It has received important awards such as the prestigious Michelin Guide, which has included it among its recommendations. So, if you are willing to be surprised by a gastronomic experience of haute cuisine, while fun and with an illogical point, A’nómalo is the restaurant you should visit. Do you dare?
