The famous fried chicken chain, KFC, has just presented its new service “Ya voy yo”, an online proposal that allows users to schedule their order through the app or website. For the launch, the brand organized a fashion show in the middle of Madrid’s Gran Vía with the participation of well-known faces such as actor Óscar Casas, who wore a large bag representing the action, which included an exclusive discount code to be used these days.
The actor, who this summer will release La soledad tiene alas, the first film directed by his brother Mario Casas, led a parade that began at 33 San Marcos Street and ended at the KFC restaurant on Gran Vía. He was accompanied by nine other models who walked along the emblematic Gran Vía to the surprise of passers-by. The looks chosen by KFC for this special occasion were 10 exclusive designs by Reparto Studio and inspired by the brand’s own characters. Reparto Studio is an emerging brand, founded by Mexican Margil Peña and Basque Ana Viglione, is revolutionizing the fashion world thanks to transgressive styles that have already been worn by celebrities such as Tokischa, Mala Rodríguez or La Zowi.
Thus, Oscar Casas wore an original style inspired by the founder of KFC, Colonel Sanders, with his iconic white suit and bow tie. On the other hand, the rest of the models paraded with very iconic and representative elements of the #ChickenChicken brand, with references to the typical KFC bucket or fabrics that simulated its popular batter.
