Although it was announced months ago that elBulli 1846 would reopen in June as an archive-museum, Ferran Adrià’s team has revealed new clues at Madrid Fusión and on their social networks, where they have confirmed that tickets will be on sale very soon so that you can start visiting it in just over 5 months’ time.
Through an epic video, elBullifoundation’s managers explain more details about this new project, which will be a space where to share a triple mission: “to safeguard elBulli’s legacy, promote innovative attitude and generate quality content about gastronomic restoration, through different projects of ‘ADN Bulli'”.
Te esperamos este junio en elBulli1846.

Among all the projects, the new elBulli 1846 space will host some such as a compilation of ‘Bullinianos’, research calls, interdisciplinary relations or Bullipedia, as “the encyclopaedia of gastronomic restoration“, as well as the application of the Sapiens methodology with the aim of “connecting knowledge with a holistic vision, questioning the status quo, avoiding dogmatism and applying rigour with a scientific attitude, ordering and connecting with a digital mentality and with efficiency in the application”.
On 30 July 2011 elBulli closed its doors as a restaurant in Cala Montjoi, in the Cap de Creus Natural Park (Girona). After more than a decade of work, the space where the restaurant was located will become an archive-museum that will open its doors in June. And tickets will be on sale very soon. There are still not too many details about the price or the access system, but Ferran Adrià’s team will surely publish more details in the next few days.
