Without exception, every calendar has its date: Valentine’s Day, also known as Valentine’s Day, is celebrated on February 14 with the aim of highlighting the importance of love in our lives. However, despite the fact that many people join the celebration, it also has its detractors. Either because they are heartbroken, or because they are single, or simply because they have another way of understanding “love”… but there are some, there are some.
For that reason, and thinking that all those antagonists are not left without a plan during that day, the events company Buckey Listers organizes ‘Bad Blood: a Taylor themed Break-Up Bar’, a pop-up experience inspired by Taylor Swift (and her famous song of 2014) that will welcome the non-lovers who are encouraged to have a good time, between January 27 and February 26 at Electric Garden (324 S Racine Ave, Chicago, IL).
“If you want to sing about your lover, about those who were never yours, about those you’ll never get back with, or about those who still have your scarf, this is the perfect place for you,” reads its website. Among other things, those there will be able to spin “the Shake It Off cocktail wheel to choose their drink; drape themselves in jewelry for a few photos “and get in trouble with the champagne”; or even “get a glimpse” of their future thanks to tarot card readers.
And while Taylor Swift won’t be there (the event’s website wanted to emphasize this with a lengthy legal message), what all visitors will be able to enjoy is a welcome drink, with a $20 entrance fee. Singles, welcome to paradise.
