That’s why we bring you a great plan for you to enjoy a unique gastro-brewery experience this spring, thanks to the new edition of Sabor Mahou MaridaDos. 11 leading chefs in Madrid join forces with the beer brand to offer exclusive menus paired with Mahou. Prices will range between 45 € and 55 € and will be available until May 30 for lunch and dinner. We reveal which 11 restaurants are participating so that, beer in hand, you can enjoy this gastronomic route for lovers of beer and good food.
Gastro-brewery route through Madrid
Comparte Bistró
We start this route for beer lovers in the restaurant of Mario Sanchez and Charlotte Finkel, with a gastronomic proposal that brings the best of Cadiz and Paris. For this special menu of 50 €, diners can try Cadiz dishes such as croqueta de puchero or chicharrón with cantal cheese and semi-dried tomatoes; but also French specialties such as duck terrine, foie gras and red fruits or steak tartar with croissant bérnaise. If you want to try it, it will be available from May 5 to 30.

The Omar
It is the new project of Nino Redruello, in bistro format and with integrated bakery. In the heart of Madrid, in the renovated Plaza del Carmen, you can enjoy a contemporary cuisine focused on the product and its seasonality. For this occasion, the 55 € menu includes a bocata de oreja brava, sea bream tartar, seaweed, piparra and Teriyaki, grilled Italian red bell pepper with lamb and its dressing or the sweet touch with the black beer tart. Among the beers that you will be able to taste during the meal, Mahou Cinco Estrellas Sin Filtrar, Session IPA or Maestra Dunkel stand out. At The Omar, the menu will be available from April 23 to May 8.

Casa Felisa
In this restaurant located in the URSO hotel you will have the opportunity to taste an honest and quality cuisine with traditional proposals such as the Russian salad with fried food tasting or the matured beef tenderloin with shallots, roasted spring onions and soufflé potatoes, but also options with a more avant-garde touch such as the warm seafood salpicón with national lobster tail or the sturgeon sandwich with veil of Iberian jowl. All these dishes are included in its €55 pairing menu, which will be available from May 12 to 28.

Arima
In Ponzano you will find a roots cuisine proposal by Rodrigo García and Nagore Irazue. This €55 pairing menu is the ideal occasion to enjoy the best updated Basque cuisine, including the Donostian tartlet (canned tuna, mayonnaise, chives and chives), the roasted piquillo bell pepper stuffed with cod brandade or the Iberian cheeks stewed in red wine with creamy potato and fried pickled carrots. And all, of course, with the best beers. It will be available from April 29 to May 30.

Tripea
It is one of the reference stalls of the Vallehermoso market. Here you will travel from China to Peru through the palate thanks to the creativity and talent of chef Roberto Martínez. For this 45 € paired menu they have prepared recipes such as Siumai stuffed with bacon and chorizo “Joselito”, prawns, fried quail egg, shrimp bread and sweet and sour Kam Lu sauce or Tiradito of octopus “parmesan style”, Thai basil pesto, anticuchado oil, toasted pine nuts, crispy rice and quinoa, which will be available from April 19 until May 9.

In an unbeatable location, right in the Food Hall of Galería Canalejas, Rubén Arnanz offers an essential, creative and cosmopolitan proposal where you can enjoy the taste of the new Castilian cuisine. Its €55 pairing menu will include dishes such as Castilian chickpea hummus, potato revolcona with smoked egg yolk and crispy Iberian bacon, or his Guiso express 19.86 (Iberian jowl, chestnut and boletus). It will be open from April 21 to May 12.

Ponja Nikkei
If you are a lover of Nikkei gastronomy (Japanese and Peruvian), here you can feast on baos, ceviches and tiraditos. With the sushiman Shuver Serrano at the controls, in the neighborhood of Las Salesas is the latest hit of the Quispe group. From May 8 to 25 they will offer a special menu for 50 €, so you can try the olive octopus niguiri or truffled scallops, the Nikkei tuna ceviche or an anti-cuchero octopus bao, paired with the best beers.

La Cocina de Frente
This restaurant is one of the best refuges to enjoy the dishes of a lifetime. Thanks to the proposal of chef Carlos García, who manages to feed our souls based on simple elaborations with the best raw material always present. For this occasion, in their 45 € menu they have included the ropavieja croquette, salad, smoked tuna belly and piparras, pisto manchego and Galician egg yolk or a mollete de Antequera sobrasada Ca’s Sereno and Arzúa Ulloa cheese, among other delicacies. And all paired with different Mahou beers. If you do not want to miss it, it will be available from April 21 to May 20.

Marzeah
The gastro-brewery route takes us to Parque de Berlín, where chef Sergio Guijarro offers a daring and casual proposal that will make you travel through his dishes: from Mexico to China, but without forgetting the essence of Madrid and Spain. In his MaridaDos menu of 55 € will not miss the Steak Tartar Roll, the Luisito Vadouvan or the Sauteed fideuá with clams. It will be available from April 19 to May 4.

Poncio
Chef Willy Moya leads a different project with no lack of nods to international cuisine. Located next to El Retiro Park, this restaurant offers a gastronomic proposal halfway between a restaurant and a tapas bar, with fusion cuisine as its flagship. For this occasion, they have created a 50 € menu that will be available from April 19 until May 4. There will be classics such as the Gilda de Poncio, the crispy suckling pig and golden imperial caviar or Iberian pork cheek with oloroso and sweet potato puree.
Where? At Plaza del niño Jesús, 3.
Umiko
The restaurant headed by Juan Alcaide and Pablo Álvarez Marcos has become one of the great references of Asian cuisine at national level. Here there is a perfect union between the West and Asia. In the 55 € menu they have prepared for this occasion, which will be available from May 10 to 27, you can taste delicious scallop Usuzukuri (with Mahou Cinco Estrellas Sin Filtrar), Tuna Tartar (with Mahou Cinco Estrellas Session IPA), Yuzu bull Niguiris (with Mahou Barrica Original) or Porra de cochinillo (with Mahou Maestra Doble Lúpulo).
